A The name 'BBQ Blue' comes from the fact that when I was young I was often called 'Blue' because I had red hair.
Australians also tend to call bald guys 'Curly' and give short people the nickname 'Lofty'. Miniature poodles are often named ‘Fang’ or ‘Vlad’ and I know of at least one Rottweiler that answers to ‘Fluffy’.
It think it must have something to do with the fact that, in this half of the planet, bath water drains counter clockwise. Or is it clockwise? Hang on and I’ll go check. Yup definitely counter clockwise.
